Old Oak's Woodland Party — a musical adventure for 0-3 year olds at Ramsbury Memorial Hall

Sun 11 Oct 2026 10:00 AM - 11:00 AM Ramsbury Memorial Hall, SN8 2PB

Join world-class children’s music leader Lucia Vernon-Long and pianist Sam Peña as the Ramsbury Memorial Hall is transformed for a stunning creative, interactive musical session for children and their grown-ups. With a bespoke show written specially for the White Horse Festival, this really is a fabulous morning not to be missed!

Deep in Savernake Forest stands an ancient oak tree. Every year Old Oak holds a very special party for everyone who lives in the forest! All the woodland animals are invited, but they each have to bring something to make the celebration magical. Join us as we enter a magical woodland world of music, instruments, sensory props and bubbles as we help prepare for Old Oak’s party!

Lucia Vernon-Long and Sam Peña

Lucia and Sam regularly collaborate together bringing music to the masses; from singing workshops at opera festivals, song writing with the homeless community, music making at Ecstatic Dances, and immersive workshops with children with profound disabilities. They combine their skills as classical musicians with their abilities to find joy and connection in communities through music.
